Hello, I’m John
I am a time served bricklayer and general builder with experience across residential, commercial and industrial building sectors.
My journey in construction started fresh from college in ’98 where I’d qualified to NVQ Level III as a bricklayer.
From here after successfully completing a 3 year apprenticeship as a refractory furnace bricklayer in the steel industry, I was eager to get out into the world of work to develop my skills and broaden my horizons.
It wasn’t long before I found myself working on large commercial building sites for many of the national construction companies. Although I was employed mainly as a bricklayer, my experience soon broadened to include almost every aspect of construction, from single residential dwellings and large housing estates to shopping centres, commercial buildings, and many other types of development.
Over the subsequent decade I’d refined and developed my skills and experience sufficiently in many aspects of construction. I’d not only become skilled in brickwork, blockwork, stonework and masonry, but many other aspects of building too – landscaping and groundworks, roofing, window installation, paving and planning and excavation to name a few.
Feeling confident in my skills and connections across the industry it became clear I was in a great position to start pursuing my own work, and that’s exactly what I did.
In 2008 this company was formed.
Today I have team of builders that work for and with me regularly who are qualified and skilled in a range of trades, and I have a great many more contacts and trusted partners that I work with and alongside across the whole region.
